The Summer-relief place one must visit !
1: Visit Kodai Lake:
Kodai Lake is a manmade lake (But doesn't look like). Houses the main market and offers umpteen things to do.

· Boating is available at standard rates in different boats like-: Shikara, Paddle Boat, Machine boat etc.
· Homemade chocolates are another attraction. One can find many shops. Those who are really fond of the homemade chocolate then take the no. of any of the shopkeepers they will send via courier as well by taking additional courier charges.
· For small kids, soft toys shops are there.
· One can get beautiful “Shankh” (Shell) with one’s names engraved on it from Roadside shops. Other than “shankhs”, one may get it on keychains as well.
· Horse Ridding: Those who want to do horse riding but never got the chance in life to do it then it’s the best place for you.
2. Mannauvanur Park: It’s the best place to visit but the weather should not be hot. It’s a really scenic scene.
3. Coakkers Walk: It’s around half-a-km small road running alongside the periphery of a big mountain range and gives a very beautiful view of the entire range of mountains as well as plains.
4. Bryant Park: Bryant Park is a very big garden. A variety of flowers and a place to sit and relax.
One of it's gate opens at the exit of Coakkers walk and the other opens towards the Kodai Lake.
5. Green Valley View: Another attraction is “The green Valley view”. It was earlier known as “The Suicide Point” and was not much popular because of its name.
The valley view from the top is really soothing and the experience of being among clouds is something those who experience can only know about.
6. Pillar Rocks: The pillar rock is a point near green valley view. Here one can witness the beauty of nature and the architecture of nature how beautifully rocks are standing and appears as if somebody has carved them like pillars. Maybe that’s why they are being called “Pillar rocks”
7. Pine Forest: It’s a nice place. There are many points to get in the forest. One may take the forest tour also.
8. Poombarai Village View: The view of the village from many points one may get.
9. Guna Caves: Guna caves are also known as “Devil’s kitchen”. No idea why it’s called so.
10. Shembaganur Museum of Natural History:
Enroute Kodai Road Railway Station the museum is around 5 kms down the hill. For the students of science and Biology it’s a must place to go. The museum has unique collection of preserved varieties of species. Few of them are depict their early stages of life (including embryotic stages).
