Baby, family, and relatives:
The baby brings along the new happiness and joy in the family. Relatives and extended families greet each other and elders share experiences of bringing up the babies. However, take advice from the relatives and do what suits best for the baby. There will be many opinions and suggestions but apply logic. Don’t make the baby a full canvas in the name of rituals. Better avoid powder and creams. let the baby grow naturally.
Pieces of advice are many but the baby is one!!
It is advisable to do the research regarding the baby care during maternity itself, few age-old customs those today don’t have relevance should be avoided such as putting Kajal in the eyes , black threads.
Many people shall usher different views regarding the baby care but before making any decision consult the doctor and select the best for the baby’s health.
Keep the baby protected if someone in the family catches some disease than do not hesitate to keep the baby away until s/he recovers.
Babies should be allowed to grow in the natural environment. In the name of rituals do not apply lots of colors to the baby, since her skin is too vulnerable to chemicals. A mid-way should find out to protect the baby and respect the sentiments.
